AntiFlap Kits and Walls

Aussie Traveller has designed the AntiFlap Kit (AFK) (Patent Pending) to help overcome two of the major problems faced by owners of all brands of roll out awnings.

  • It helps to prevent wind flap
  • It has the ability to successfully add walls

The AFK breaks down to four individual sections (two pieces per end) which, when joined together, form a full length clamp. This full length clamp fixes to the awning fabric's outside edge, and helps prevent wind flap and includes a rope track to accept walls.

Select the two corresponding sections
for each side of the awning fabric end
and join together
Ensure the top clamp is in the open position

Attach the pole and hook to the wall bracket
Extend the AntiFlap Kit out and
fit the spiggot into the hole in the roller

The edge of the awning fabric is
now located between the bottom
and top clamp sections of the AntiFlap Kit

 

Rotate the top clamp sections down
and lock into place -
there should be minimal distortion
to the fabric edge

 

Adding walls with our
Exclusive Anti Flap Kit

Aussie Traveller has made adding walls to all brands of roll out awnings quick and easy.

Adding walls to give a waterproof seal is as simple as sliding the walls through the built in rope tracks on the inside of the AFK (AntiFlap Kit). Our walls and AFK are suitable for the following

Slide the end walls through the rope track in the afk towards the roller, commencing from the middle of the AFK
  
Slide the balance of the wall through the rope track towards the caravan, commencing again from the middle of the AFK. The back end of the wall seals against the van (with a separate touch tape connecting strip).

With the roller tube set at the correct (9 o'clock) position, the long side wall slides into the rope track in the roller.
  
The end walls are zippered together at the corners and held in position with an external wall pole (supplied).
